What a great story from Sunday’s New York Times!

It is common belief that if you don’t start running early enough, the results won’t be there.  I admit to thinking what kind of runner would I be if I had run cross country in high school (instead of riding the bench during football); if I’m honest, I know that’s not the reason I can’t run a 3:00 marathon like some of my friends, but it sounds good!

Kathy Martin is one of the exceptions to this misconceptions.  She began running in her 40’s and now holds multiple Masters records.  For those of us who have yet to reach that age, what will we be like then?  For those in their 60’s, how do your workouts compare to Ms. Martin’s?
