Great article in yesterday’s NY Times about using GPS watches to monitor training.  I will admit that I rely on my GPS watch a bit too much at times.  But I must also say that it does a nice job generally monitoring my effort/intensity.  In addition, I’m able to keep a historical record of my training (no more notebooks piling up in the corner!).  So, as the author of this article (and the one it references here) suggests, it is just one part of an overall training program.  Enjoy the article!
