Knee Pain StudyResearch Volunteers Needed

Do you have knee pain?

The purpose of this Creighton University study is to gain a better understanding of the immediate effects of interventions applied to either the back or knee on thigh muscle function in individuals with patellofemoral (knee) pain. It requires one visit and will take approximately 1.5 hours of your time.

We are looking for people who meet the following criteria:

  • Between 15 and 45 years old
  • Knee pain lasting greater than 1 month in duration
  • Knee pain reproduced by at least two of the following symptoms: Patella compression, squatting, prolonged sitting, going up or down stairs, or isometric quadriceps contraction
  • NO other knee injury including ligament (ACL), cartilage or arthritis

A $25 stipend is available to qualified participants.
