Thus far, I’ve dedicated my career to helping athletes and individuals recover from injuries and achieve their optimal physical performance . . . first as a strength coach and PT, later as an author and rehab leader. With several non-fiction books, articles, and chapters on rehabilitation and sports medicine under my belt, I very much enjoy writing. I wanted to explore something new.

Fiction.

Writing those words is a bit of a shock, as I never considered myself creative enough to invent fictional characters. Well, after a lot of thought and work, today, my book is finally live online as a paperback, hardcover, or e-book. So, here it is: Stealing Equity: A Beyond Vengeance Heist Novel.

Here’s where you can find it:

If you do want to buy the book, I’d prefer you use this website, but all of the above work well if you prefer another format.

So, why did I do this?

My background in physical therapy has given me a unique perspective on the human experience, with insights into the resilience, determination, and complexities of the human spirit. My work in rehabilitation and leadership now finds a new outlet for these central themes.

In “Stealing Equity,” I’ve tried to weave a tale of redemption, justice, and the unbreakable bonds of friendship set against the backdrop of the seedy underbelly of the adult entertainment industry. The story follows a diverse crew of individuals, each with their own unique skills and troubled pasts, as they come together to take down a corrupt empire. I hope this cast of complex, nuanced characters resonates with you. The characters are not real, but they have depth and authenticity that I enjoyed creating.

While the subject of “Stealing Equity” may seem like a far cry from the world of physical therapy, in many ways, it extends my lifelong passion for helping others. By creating a story that entertains, engages, and ultimately uplifts readers, I hope to reach a wider audience and share this message of hope and healing in a new way.

What’s Next?

As I embark on this exciting new chapter in my career, I remain committed to my work in healthcare and physical therapy, even as I continue to explore the boundless possibilities of fiction writing. I know this isn’t highbrow literary fiction, but I have enjoyed creating characters and worlds that are unique. “Stealing Equity” is just the beginning of an exciting new journey for me . . . I’m excited to see where the characters go next!
