When I was a senior in high school, I had an idea that I wanted to play soccer in college. Well . . . a small school in Iowa (Marycrest College) awarded me a full academic scholarship, so I accepted and played there for an injury-filled year I will never forget.
Thought I’d post this team photo from that year and to showcase my super awesome long hair . . . still miss it . . .
